Post-op Update #2

I was able to see Courtney yesterday for the first time since surgery! The surgeon is pleased with her progress so far and the images (MRI/CT) they see but Courtney is frustrated at the seemingly slow pace of her recovery. As the brain "settles down" (my phrase) from surgery and mass removal, strength and motor function ebb and flow. 

She'll be in for some intense physical therapy in the coming days and weeks, so please continue to lift her up and encourage her! Thank you again for your continued prayers!

PS - Unless there's some breaking news, hopefully the blog will stay quiet for potentially a few weeks as she works through physical therapy when maybe she'll feel like posting again or I can have her dictate a post to me that I can type out for her so you hear from her directly!
